The LOVE Holiday

Our Valentine's Day celebrations started the afternoon prior with a play date decorating cookies. Though Max is two years younger than his play mates, he LOVES annoying playing with them.
I'm glad they are good sports and let him tag along.

Between the adorable mustache blow pops (thanks Sadie!), frosting, sprinkles, and cookies; the boys got a good dose of sugar. It wouldn't be a holiday without a sugar overload!

Valentine's morning Max woke up to a basket full of "candy" (fruit snacks), socks, books, and Mickey playing cards. He thought the basket came from Santa because it had treats in it. At least Max doesn't think his parents are the ones hyping him up on sugar :)

We ended our day with dinner and an Aggie's basketball game (no photos to document those events). It's funny how fast the day goes when it's a holiday. There were several things I had intentions of doing but the day just got away from me. I guess there's always next year . . .

Looks like a fun Valentine's basket! Thanks a ton for the Valentines you sent the kids, Max! They loved them! You do a great job at writing your name! :)
